It’s been two months since Apple released iOS 14 for the general public and the rumors related to iOS 15 are started coming from some sources on the internet. According to the latest rumor, Apple will drop iOS 15 support for two of its older devices running iOS 14 right now. The iPhone 6s and original iPhone SE will not get iOS 15 software support next year.

The rumor related to iOS 15 device support is coming from one of the Israeli sites The Verifier that shares occasional exclusives revealing the development of new Apple products, features, and updates. The Verifier accuracy for Apple's track record is 54.3% according to appletrack.

The report claimed iOS 15 compatibility devices and also mentioned that iOS 15 will release on the 15th of September for the general public.

If we look in the past we can see that this year Apple didn’t drop support for its 5 years older iPhone 6s and also for the original iPhone SE. The iPhone 6s series was first released by Apple in September 2015 while the original iPhone SE was released in March 2016.
