Do black lives really matter? A Muslim Perspective.
Islam’s anti-racist message for humanity
The issue of human skin color is a hot topic since the beginning of human life. Due to the color of skin, many people in the world face so many inequality problems. But not everyone’s story reaches the media. In the USA, this inequality started in 1600. When European settlers forced almost 6–7 million Africans as laborers and moved them to the US. Black people are treated badly since then. Even after 400 years in 2020 where people are talking about freedom and equality, black people still face racism. It is hard to find these types of cases on news and on media because of some big people monopoly but recently few cases became a hot topic on social media and on the news channels. The Shooting of Ahmaud Arbery and the Killing of George Floyd. After these incidents, people all across the US came out on the streets and started asking for the justice of George Floyd killing and also for the equal rights of black people. We haven’t seen any justice from the US government officials.
This issue of racism is not only an issue of African Americans, but it is also an issue faced by all races other than the white race. It is faced by almost all the developed and underdeveloped countries where mixed races live together. Different nations, religions, and governments made some rules and regulations on how different races should living together. Let’s see How Islam teaches Muslims to live together without any discrimination.
